Bookmaking brief required to create two exhibits for an online experimental artists’ books exhibition based on the theme of 

dot/dash. 

My first exhibit represents “The Little Prince’s” story. There are five coloured pins each representing a character from the book. The pins are pinned exactly where they are mentioned in the book. The gold pins in the centre read “The Little Prince” in morse code which consists of dots and dashes. The rubber bands shape a crown as a reference to the prince. Lastly, the books hanging include a quote from each of the characters.

The second exhibit focuses on the characters of the first book and their quotes.
